The Carpenters Daughter
From humble beginnings in the San Juan Islands, I grew up in a home my dad—a skilled finish carpenter—built with his own hands. Whether I was pegging hardwood floors or sitting beside him on the roof during yet another home addition, I saw firsthand that construction was more than a trade—it was an art form.
In 2010 I met my husband, we wanted to buy a home together, but couldn’t afford turn key. So we bought what we could afford and rolled up our sleeves to make that property into something beautiful.
Four homes later, my love for remodeling, design, and creating inviting spaces was undeniable. I didn’t start out as an expert, but I had something even more powerful: vision, tenacity, and an unwavering passion for bringing ideas to life. I learned from every mistake, every misstep, and every moment in between. My humble beginnings have always reminded me that everyone starts somewhere—and it’s in those imperfect starts that we grow, mature, and sharpen our skill set.
After the passing of my Dad in 2017 and the birth of my son in 2020, I took some years to just “mom”. In 2024, I was ready to get back to houses after a few years after putting my hammer down.
I have a creative eye for reimagining interiors, transforming landscapes, and breathing new life into any space. Whether it’s a full remodel, a quick flip, or prepping a property for sale, I bring heart, hustle, and a beautiful finished product to every project I touch.
